Thanks for Your Support of this Year's Run for Life!

Over 150 participants joined in the fun on Sunday, May 30, 2010 at our 7th annual 5k run, walk, jog through Nanaimo's Bowen Park. Together you helped us raise more than $16,000! Thank you!

Run for the cause

By supporting the Run for Life you are helping to purchase new equipment for the Emergency Room Expansion at Nanaimo Regional General Hospital. Our ER currently sees 45,000 visitors per year, with this number expected to continue to grow. The proposed expansion will nearly double the size of the existing ER and will cost $36.9 million.

About the Run for Life

Run for Life is hosted by the Financial Institutions of Central Vancouver Island in conjunction with the Nanaimo & District Hospital Foundation. Over $53,000 has been raised through the Run for Life in the past six years!
