The Gabriola Woman’s Institute recently showed their support for healthcare initiatives at Nanaimo Regional General Hospital (NRGH) with a donation from proceeds from their Annual Bazaar and Tea. The group presented Maeve O’Byrne, President of the Nanaimo & District Hospital Foundation, with a $1,000 donation to be shared between the Paediatrics Ambulatory Unit at Nanaimo Regional General Hospital (NRGH) and the Senior Ongoing Care-Rehab in Dufferin Place’s Cedar Wing. These two areas help either children or seniors achieve a higher quality of life. Maeve noted, “the Foundation is uplifted by the generous show of support this group continues to give to those in need.”
