Thanks to all of the Project Linus volunteer quilters, organizer Evelyn McNabb recently donated 30 beautiful, hand-crafted blankets to the Foundation. The group has donated hundreds of blankets over the years, and this batch will provide comforting warmth for our smallest patients in the Neonatal Unit at NRGH as well as the VI SCAN. VI SCAN (Vancouver Island Suspected Child Abuse and Neglect) helps determine if children are being abused or neglected. These blankets give incredible comfort in a time of great need. Thank you to Project Linus for its empathy and kindness!
