About the Lotto for Life

Lotto for Life is celebrating its 20th anniversary! It is the longest running hospital lottery in BC! Therefore, we are focused on our largest goal to date. Since the Foundation announced its ambition to raise $4 million for lifesaving equipment at the Nanaimo Regional General Hospital’s (NRGH) Emergency Department, the community has stepped forward to support this project time and again.

About the Emergency Department

NRGH has the busiest Emergency Department on Vancouver Island with almost 60,000 visitors last year. The Foundation is proud to report that, thanks to you, there is less than $1 million to raise to complete the purchase of all needed equipment. Therefore, all proceeds from Lotto for Life 2013 will support this vital project. The new Department is light-filled, spacious, almost triple the size, and will be filled with equipment you have helped fund through Lotto for Life.
