Domino’s Pizza delivered $128 to the Nanaimo & District Hospital Foundation thanks to their “Doughnation Monday” fundraising sales in December. A dollar from each pizza went to the fund, as did the tips staff collected during the night of service. The Nanaimo pizza shop hosts the event every Monday to benefit a variety of local charities.
Co-owners Kim Neuhaus, Chris Coudray, and Allen Penner recently purchased a second Nanaimo Domino’s Pizza store so sales from both the Bowen Road and Norwell Drive locations helped to support the Foundation’s efforts to provide healthcare excellence to Central Vancouver Island. The young entrepreneurs now own six Domino’s Pizza outlets on the North Island, from Duncan to Campbell River.
