The Lantzville Legion Ladies Auxiliary Branch 257 recently gave $1,500 to the Nanaimo & District Hospital Foundation for the purchase of a pediatric drug pump for the new Emergency Department now open to the public at Nanaimo Regional General Hospital (NRGH). The Ladies Auxiliary 257 have fundraised all year in order contribute this gift for the health and welfare of our youngest patients. The group is focused on supporting the needs of children and funding this piece of equipment will ensure that minuscule drug doses are possible for kids. Since 1995 the group has contributed almost $25,000 to the Hospital Foundation in support of children facing health crises.
