Dominik Modlinski presents an original oil painting called "Discovery" to the new Emergency Department at NRGH.
Dominik Modlinski is a nationally-recognized painter who is particularly gifted in capturing the beauty and depth of nature. The Foundation was elated to receive Mr. Modlinski’s proposal to donate an original oil painting titled “Discovery”. The artist’s vision captures First Nations children comparing eagle feathers while at play in the Ursus River in Clayoquot Sound on the West Coast of Vancouver Island. It celebrates the emotion of first ‘discovery’ when a child finds the magic of an eagle feather. The Foundation is grateful for this generous gift of artwork and will proudly share it with staff and visitors in the New Emergency Department at NRHG.
