Solomon Ali and his good friend Ryan Mundy celebrated their 7th birthdays by making a difference in the lives of children facing health concerns at Nanaimo Regional General Hospital (NRGH). The young schoolmates held a joint birthday party and asked their guests to bring donations rather than gifts to benefit the Paediatric Unit at NRGH. This is Solomon’s second year contributing to the health and wellness of young people and said he is motivated to “get the sickness and the illness out of this place for the people I care about; for my friends”. This year Ryan was inspired to join forces with Solomon because “I want to make kids feel better.” Together these generous young donors raised $300 for the Paediatric Unit.
